The Week of Smile
Tydzień Uśmiechu (The Week of Smile) is an annual project organized in December, just before Christmas. It is the biggest charity action in Warsaw School of Economics. Each year there is an auction and fair of gifts from companies and organizations willing to help. Students can buy half-price cinema and theatre tickets, books, CDs, DVDs, dance classes, language courses, etc. At the auction students can bid for presents received from politicians, sportsmen, artists, musicians. All money raised during the charity action is dedicated to a chosen Children’s Home. Apart from financial help that we offer, we invite children to Warsaw for a weekend trip full of unforgettable attractions. They have a unique opportunity to visit the capital city, which they often see only on TV. More information:
