Students Nobel
Student’s Nobel 2012 is the third edition of the competition for the best Polish Student which is organized by Independent Students’ Association. We would like to discover the most versatile Polish student during this contest. The aim is to promote the best students from Polish universities ( national and private as well). The contest is divided into two parts. The first one is to find the best of the best students and the second one is to discover the best students in 10 different branches: nature science, technical and engineering science, medical and healt h science, social science, economic science, humanities, art, sport and foreign languages.
CriteriaCompetition’s committees s elect the best students according to the following criteria: academic achievements, science and social activities including participation in symposiums, workshops, conferences, internships, work at scientific organizations and also knowledge of foreign languages. Scientific publications and projects are also taken into consideration during the committee proceedings. Course of the competitionThis year’s edition of Student’s Nobel consists of two contests. The main one is divided into three stages: the University Stage (March – April 2011) when University’s committee selects the best students from each university. The committee consists of the University’s government, student’s council, university’s partners. The Regional Stage (April – May 2011), which allows to select the best student from each province. The authority responsible for the decision-making at this step is the Regional Contest Committee, which consists of honoured patrons, regional patrons, provosts. Then there is the Final Stage which is planned to take place on June 2012. During the Final Stage the best students will be awarded with valuable prizes (money cheques, internships). In the case of the Branch Contest there are two stages: University Stage and Final Stage.
